Enoteca Regionale Emilia Romagna, the promoter of the initiative, chooses Bologna again as the ideal stage to represent the story of the extraordinary wine and food chain of this region.
At Palazzo Re Enzo Enologica is going to write another chapter of a tale, whose protagonists are more than 100 producers, consortia and wineries of the region. They will allow visitors to enjoy a perfect “travel” along the Via Emilia – from Rimini to Piacenza hills – through the wines of this territory: Albana and Sangiovese, Pignoletto Fortana, Lambrusco, Malvasia and Gutturnio.
The heart of this tale consists of winemakers, chefs, the wines and the food of Emilia Romagna, but especially of the culture of this region that this year will be told through tarot cards, which were born right in Bologna at the end of 14th century.
The programme of Enologica will be also enriched by an interesting series of seminars and thematic tastings called “Il Teatro dei Cuochi” (the Theatre of Chefs) – taking place in some places of the city center – that this year focuses on the processing of stuffed pasta, and by “Genus Loci”, a space created to discover the products that best express the identity and the culture of Emilia Romagna.
